Hi, my name is Jacqui and I am the Director of Studies for WLE's Real Life English training centres.

So, you are thinking about travelling to China and teaching foreign students how to use your mother tongue. By now you will have done a pile of research that has brought you to the wish to live in Beijing, one of the most exciting capital cities in the world, and are now deciding just which Teach Abroad program to commit to.

WLE has a 10-year history in China and is well established here as one of the leading language training centres, thus enabling us to teach at such prestigious companies as Microsoft, Google and PriceWaterHouse, to name just three.

I have lived and worked overseas as an English teacher and Director of Studies for some 30 years now, so between us we have a wealth of experience and understand the care and support that you will require before, during and after your time as a teacher with us.

We take great care to supply you with all the information you will need to make your transition from your home to China as easy as possible, taking time to answer every question you may have. Whilst you are here you will be fully supported at all times by all members of staff so that you will feel safe and comfortable 7 days a week. When you move on to other opportunities that your time here will open up for you, we will continue our support with references and detailed work reports, enabling you to continue on your future chosen career path.

Life in China is exciting and teaching with WLE is exciting too, our current teachers will testify to that. We will not put you in a classroom 8 hours a day teaching the same students, we will make your teaching as varied as possible thus making sure that you can develop all your skills in a totally pro-active way.

Your life outside the classroom will be exciting too with evenings at carefully chosen restaurants, trips to historical sites and workshops on the myriad aspects of Chinese culture. And to make sure that you can get around on your own we will also teach you Mandarin.
