Harbin is located in Heilongjiang province, in the North East of China. As Harbin borders Russia & North Korea, this economic center plays a vital role in communications between South and North Asia as well regions of Europe and the Pacific Ocean.
Harbin is especially known for its spectacular city and ice sculptures at the Ice Lantern Festival where each winter, the city is filled with fantastic sculptures created from snow and ice, lanterns and exciting sporting events. The “Ice City” becomes ablaze with color during the winter months and is a definitely “must see” on any intrepid travelers’ itinerary

Arrive in Harbin.
Visit Sun Island and see the Ice and Snow Festival, as well as visiting the Siberian Tiger Park.
Visit Sofia Church and stroll down central street
Spend the evening at the Ice Lantern Show at Ice and Snow World
Meals: Breakfast - Chinese style lunch and dinner
Stay overnight at a three star hotel.
Sunday
Visit the old site of the Japanese Germ troops Unit 731.
Stroll by Alexei Church and Guogeli Russian Street.

Arrive in Harbin, the ‘Ice City’. You will see the fantastic Ice and Snow sculptures.
The tour includes visiting Ice and Snow World on the western zone of Sun Island for the splendid ice sculptures as well as visiting the Siberian Tiger Park. This park protects more than five hundred endangered purebred Siberian tigers.
Visit Songhuajiang Island which is famous for holding many annual exciting sporting events. Brave the coldness of Harbin’s winter and swim in the cold ocean with the locals. For lunch, taste the multi-cultural specialties of the North-East.
Visit the majestic St. Sofia Orthodox Churchand Zhongyang Dajie. Harbin’s cityscape is a kaleidoscope of the modern and the traditional, the east and the west, creating a unique and exotic experience for the traveler. As you stroll down Zhongyang Dajie, see why some have called Harbin “Moscow of the East”.
After dinner, visit Ice and Snow World by night to enjoy the magnificent ice sculptures lit up by hundreds of coloured lights.
Visit the Crimes of Unit 731 Museum where visitors can learn about the thosands of Chinese and Russian prisoners that died in Harbin between 1931 and 1940 as a result of the chemical and biological weapon experiments carried out by the Japanese Imperial Army.
Visit Alexei Church and Guogeli Russian Street. The Russian Market Street, right beside Guogeli street park is a wonderful place to stock up on souvinirs and goodies with a Russian flavour – pick up Russian style jewellery or some Matryoshka Nesting Dolls.
Lunch is provided offering more North Eastern specialty dishes.
Free time in the afternoon allows for visits to antique and curiosity shops around the city. Head back to the hotel to prepare for the journey back to Beijing.
